Welcome to Chai Joywood, the company that sells and makes solid wood tables, chairs, and other furniture for your dining, office, or living room. We are glad that you have chosen our products and services, and we hope that you will enjoy them. These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of our products and services. By using our products and services, you agree to accept and comply with these terms and conditions. Please read them carefully and contact us if you have any questions.

1. Products and Services

We offer a variety of products and services, such as:

  • Selling ready-made solid wood tables, chairs, and other furniture that are available in our inventory.
  • Making custom-made solid wood tables, chairs, and other furniture according to the customer’s specifications and preferences.
  • Delivering and installing the products at the customer’s location.
  • What we reserve the right to do

We reserve the right to change, modify, or discontinue any of our products and services at any time without prior notice. We also reserve the right to reject any order or request that we deem inappropriate, unreasonable, or unlawful.

2. Payment Terms

The payment terms for our products and services are as follows:

  • The customer must pay 50% of the total price as a down payment before we start processing the order or request.
  • The customer must pay the remaining 50% of the total price upon delivery and installation of the products.
  • The customer can pay by cash, cheque, bank transfer, or credit card. We do not accept any other payment methods.
  • The customer is responsible for any taxes, fees, or charges that may apply to the purchase of our products and services.
  • If the customer fails to pay the full amount within the agreed time frame, we have the right to cancel the order or request, withhold the products, or take legal action against the customer.
3. Guarantees and Warranties

We guarantee that our products and services are of high quality and craftsmanship, and that they meet the customer’s expectations and requirements. We also offer a one-year warranty for our products, which covers any defects or damages that are caused by our fault or negligence. The warranty does not cover any defects or damages that are caused by the customer’s misuse, abuse, or modification of the products.

If the customer wants to claim the guarantee or warranty, they must contact us within 14 days of receiving the products, and provide us with proof of purchase and evidence of the defect or damage. We will then inspect the products and decide whether to repair, replace, or refund them. We will bear the cost of the repair, replacement, or refund, as well as the delivery and installation of the products.

4. Returns and Refunds

We accept returns and refunds for our products and services under the following conditions:

  • The customer is not satisfied with the quality or performance of the products or services.
  • The products or services are not as described or advertised by us.
  • The products or services are damaged or defective upon delivery or installation.

 

If the customer wants to return or refund the products or services, they must contact us within 14 days of receiving the products, and provide us with proof of purchase and reason for the return or refund. We will then arrange for the collection and inspection of the products, and process the return or refund accordingly. We will refund the full amount of the purchase price, minus any delivery and installation fees, within 30 days of receiving the products.

We do not accept returns or refunds for any custom-made products or services, unless they are covered by our guarantee or warranty.

5. Intellectual Property Rights

We own or have the license to use all the intellectual property rights related to our products and services, such as trademarks, logos, designs, content, etc. The customer is not allowed to copy, modify, distribute, or use our intellectual property rights without our permission. Any unauthorized or infringing use of our intellectual property rights will result in legal action and liability.

6. Liability and Disclaimer

We are not liable for any damages or losses that may arise from using our products and services, or from any errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in our content. We do not guarantee that our products and services will meet the customer’s expectations, needs, or requirements, or that they will be available, secure, or error-free. We disclaim any warranties or representations that are not expressly stated in these terms and conditions.

7. Dispute Resolution and Governing Law

Any disputes or conflicts that may arise from using our products and services, or from these terms and conditions, will be resolved by negotiation, mediation, or arbitration, as agreed by both parties. The governing law and jurisdiction that apply to these terms and conditions are the laws and courts of Malaysia, and the customer agrees to submit to them.
